Natasha Karpasov
Natasha completed her 200-hr and 300-hr yoga teacher trainings and restorative yoga training with Down Under School of Yoga in Boston. She is honored to have studied under the instruction of Natasha Rizopoulos, as well as other senior faculty at Down Under.
Her teaching style combines attention to principles of alignment, safely building strength and ease in postures, and utilizing breath work to release tension in the body and quiet the mind. She embraces and integrates different styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow, and restorative yoga. Because no two bodies are alike, helping students find their very own potential on the mat is Natasha’s priority. Discovering greater range of motion and helping students modify their practice to meet their unique needs is of particular interest to her.
Natasha was trained in classical ballet for 20 years, and taught ballet to children, teens, and adults earlier in her career. She turned to yoga to alleviate chronic pain, muscle tension, and anxiety, and has been practicing for 15 years. With yoga, she has found solace, healing, and a new and therapeutic way to move.
